I’m a 30-something Chicagoan who loves making lists, traveling, eating, and most recently – running. I have a
n obsession with passion for new experiences and crossing things off my ever-growing Life’s List. I’ve had a list for years (hand-written in a Care Bear journal) and any time I found myself thinking “I always wanted to try ______.” it went on my list.
In 2010, I started this blog as a way to keep closer tabs on my list, to hold myself more accountable for completing the items on there, and to take the time to reflect and write about my experiences along the way.
Since then, I’ve pushed myself to do things beyond what I’d ever imagine (like dancing on stage in front of a sold-out crowd at the Park West, running my first marathon, and continually stepping out of my comfort zone to try new things). Because of My Life’s List, I’ve learned that sometimes just admitting you want to accomplish something is the first step in making it happen.
This blog now serves as a way for me to record what I’ve done, what I still want to do, and how I plan on getting there.
